*how do I describe my music?*
Eclectic
Having majored in Music Education (bachelors and masters from
Western Connecticut State University) and having grown up in a very
musical family, I have been exposed to a lot of different types of music
and have learned to see the value in most of it.  I've tried my hand at
everything from rock to pop to jazz to reggae to disco to rap to classical
to techno...There is certainly a lot of variety!  I absolutely love playing,
writing, experimenting etc., so I'm always working to improve my craft!
When I decided I wanted to walk closer with Christ in July of 1988, my
focus lyrically turned towards glorifying him, encouraging my fellow man,
being vulnerable about my struggles in my life and faith, and blessing
others with songs written specifically for them.

Food for Thought
(1996)
My first "real" release (more than 50 copies!)
It came out in 1996 and features songs
such as the title cut (many call it the Donut
Song), "Choices" and "Running "(2 ballads
about trusting God), "He is Jesus" (a 40's
style swing praise song), and "Your
Innocence" ( a commitment to remain
celibate until marriage.)

(2000)
Something I was the victim of and them
became quite adept at myself, much to the
detriment of many a relationship!  Songs like
"Together" lamenting not spending enough
time with God (I was busy writing the song!)
There's some great violin by my wife
Christine and one of if not my most beloved
song "Surrender Too."  Every time I've
written a new songs to take the cake, my
friend Glenn says "Great song, but it's no
Surrender Too."  It's a simple and
straightforward synopsis of the gospel
message.  Also included is a tribute to one of
my all time favorite Christian artists,Rich
Mullins who died tragically.

To Be Honest? I Don't Now and I Don't Care!
(2007)
The official  CD release was June 30, 2007
at Camp Hope in Bantam, CT.  The title is
simply the names of the first 3 songs.  It's
also a testament to the plight of the unknown
local artist.  So if someone asks you "Hey,
what's Rob's 4th album called?"  Be sure to
say "To be honest? I Don't know and I don't
care!"  Lot's of rockin' tunes and a dramatic
reading of an original short story to round it
out!
